The 'Pastel World Multicultural Children's Basketball Team', 'Global Friends Multicultural Children's Basketball Team', and 'McPais Multicultural Mother's Basketball Team' of the Korea Basketball Development Institute (CEO Chun Soo-gil) conducted the "2024 Park Shin-ja Cup" professional basketball field training as the first training in the second half of the year.

The three basketball teams of the multicultural hope project had a field training session to improve their sense of practice by watching the fierce match between Korea (Hana Bank) and Japan (Toyota), the first match of the semifinals of the women's professional basketball "2024 Park Shin-ja Cup."

The field training was designed to improve the performance of multicultural children and mother basketball team members who are aiming to win the basketball tournament in November and next year, and all members watched the game in a serious manner, closely analyzing the players' jump shot positions, passes and dribbling movements with serious expressions, and taking notes on each team's game strategy, attack and defense patterns.
Before watching the game, general manager Chun Soo-gil explained the history of the "Park Shin-ja Cup," which began to honor the spirit of Park Shin-ja, the only Korean to be inducted into the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Hall of Fame, and asked that multicultural families like Obama, who achieved his dream through basketball, grow into figures like Park Shin-ja in Korean society.

Following the field training, the third historical tour of the year, Chungmugong Yi Sun-shin shrine history tour, was also held. The tour introduced Admiral Yi Sun-shin's shrine, achievements, and Korean history and had a special time to understand and communicate different cultural differences. The Korea Basketball Development Institute held a history tour of Seodaemun Independence Park, Seodaemun Prison, and the National Provisional Government Memorial of the Republic of Korea in March, and a tour of Cheong Wa Dae, including the main building of Cheong Wa Dae, the guest palace, and the green garden, in June.
Maeng Ha-na (43, female), who became a naturalized citizen in China, said, "It was a fun and exciting game, and I could see and feel many things. I will train hard like these players and win one championship next year." Lee Do (second grade, male) who participated in the training said, "My heart was racing when I saw Admiral Yi Sun-shin, who I had only seen in history books."

"This event is a field training to enhance the performance of the members and a special program that combines cultural history experience time for multicultural children and parents to know Korean history immediately," said Chun Soo-gil, head of the Korea Basketball Development Institute. "We will also strive to cultivate multicultural identity and foster future talent by providing opportunities to watch men's and women's professional basketball, experience various sports, and explore history and culture." 메이저놀이터
